Shariful Islam Ghuddy — also credited as Sharif Sumon — is a Bangladeshi music composer, sound engineer, mix & mastering engineer and sound designer based in Dhaka. He is a founding member of the band Ghuddy, formed in 2007, where he plays guitar and flute. The band's name has since become part of his own, and he is widely known as "Ghuddy".
In 2015 he joined the radio station Colours FM 101.6 as an audio engineer, and in 2016 he advanced his studio-engineering training in Mumbai, studying sound engineering at Mumbai Music Institute and earning a professional certification from Steinberg. While in India he also performed as rhythm guitarist with the Indian band Reeva.
He then founded Sound Hacker, an audio production house and recording studio in Kakrail, Dhaka, where he works as composer, arranger and mix & mastering engineer alongside long-time collaborator Rizvi Rahman Adit. His work spans feature films, short films, television dramas, artist releases, jingles and advertising, NGO campaigns and dubbing — including music arrangement, mixing and mastering for Redoan Rony's feature film Domm (2026) and for seven songs of Tahsan Khan's Porcelaina Tahsan's Playlist (2025), among them "Prakritik", Tahsan's final released song.
Outside the studio, he is a passionate bike rider and traveler who loves exploring new places.
